For christians Sunday is a special day. For Jew’s it’s Saturday. Muslims have Friday. Friday afternoons are their special time for togetherness. In the Netherlands, a Moroccan foundation called MarocBridge has been revitalizing this traditional custom in innovative ways. Everyone who wants to join these Friday afternoon couscous meetings is welcome, regardless of religion, origin, and skin color. As long as people are willing to participate in conversations. How can we work together? How can we help each other? How can we start businesses? The emphasis lies on young people, but certainly not exclusively. Because eating something you do together, often with people of various generations.
